I needed a bedside table because I was using a small tub instead and it was proving to be quite a nuisance. I saw some reviews complaining about the size but for a small apartment it's great and gives me enough space. I wouldn't use it as a dresser. This is about the same height as my bed. So if you have a bed frame on the higher side I would suggest measuring and comparing the measurements in the description. I've seen a few reviews complaining of a chemical smell or something, but I haven't had those issues. I can only really smell it if I press my nose against it. My only real problem is the style, it's not really my thing but it's definitely not ugly. Overall this is a great budget chest of drawers and if you are considering something nice and compact with plenty of storage space don't go for something more expensive.
