Really noticeably quieter and tactile softer than conventional (non-silent) models. But over time, something loosens up there and starts to work louder. Some pros: According to many years of experience, the most capricious and convenient model from the "plug and forget" series. There are different colors. The classic form has not changed for 20 years. The optical sensor ("red beam") is much less capricious than the more expensive "invisible" laser sensor - it works on any surface. At the same time, its sensitivity is sufficient for office tasks (but no more). With its cons: The price for "silent" is 2 times higher than for a regular Logitech mouse in the same case - this is not always justified. The wheel is narrow and slippery, and pressing on it is quite tight. Reliability is average - takes care of 2-3 years - just like cheap non-silent versions.
