Review on Stylish Antique Nickel and Green Banker's Glass Shade Desk Lamp - Simple Designs LT3216-GRN by Tara Ford

I ordered 4 of these lamps (black lampshades, brushed metal finish) and had to return 3 of them. The quarter I returned either had severe scratches and chips on the black lampshade, revealing the true green tint underneath, or the lampshade hinges could not be tightened enough to prevent the lampshade from falling forward. They match the aesthetic. I don't want to and can't find any other type of table lamp with this aesthetic, but I'm not sending these lamps back because of the terrible quality control. The first lamp had a single deep scratch on the front; the second had minor scratches and much of the lamp with faded black paint; third, the lampshade couldn't stay in one place no matter how tight I tightened the hinges.
