So, the boots arrived today. They are definitely on the small side as many reviews say. My son is a size 5 and I ordered a size 7. They're a bit too big for him. With a pair of warm socks they are perfect. So when you buy, be sure to buy more. Some reviews also show an ice pick at the bottom. Please note that this is not for you. I expected they would have that and when they didn't I was a bit surprised. We don't really care as I didn't pick them for this feature but if anyone expected them to be messy. I don't know why some have it and some don't. Just remember. They feel very warm and are mostly well made. Another issue I'm concerned about is that the velcro is very stiff and plasticky. We live in a very cold climate and I'm a little worried that this part might not hold up and could crack or even fall apart due to the stiffness. If so, I'll let you know as soon as it is. Haven't really used them yet as we don't have much snow yet but I'll update as soon as we do how warm it is etc. Just wanted to analyze my first thoughts.
