Review on ๐Ÿ’จ Efficient Cooling and Illumination: Casablanca Stingray Indoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Remote Control by Robert Cooper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A functional and aesthetic blessing for our cave. We are absolutely delighted with this fan.

We have a 19th century house that has been terribly renovated over the years. One of the worst is the ceiling fan/lamp in our office, probably from the 70's, which looks like a disgusting mix of Victorian kitsch and shabby chic. We are atomic mid-century modern humans. He was always on the reserve list. I just didn't think it would take us 25 years. This fan (Stingray, large granite) corresponds exactly to our perception. It was easy for my smart husband to install and lighter than the old fan. Our main goal in designing this fan was to move air in a room with poor circulation of heat and air conditioning. It does that very well and is much quieter than the old fan. Light was secondary for us as I prefer table and floor lamps. It wouldn't be enough as the only light in the room, but it's enough (and energy efficient) for walking around the room. I love the look of this fan and it transformed the whole room. Love the remote control. No more dangling cords and 4 tube attachments. This fan is perfect for those who appreciate clean lines and maybe a bit of quirky retro decor. Perfect fit for us. Edited to add: A few weeks after installing this fan, we were able to stop using two room air conditioners. This fan moves the air so efficiently that we can get by with one indoor unit and this fan even on very hot, muggy days.
