I had two mics from this company and both broke about the same time and around the same time of use. Tension exposed the metal wires and let them touch making all sorts of horrible static and popping noises until it finally stopped working completely. In this model, the rubber has not been visually damaged, but you can see the metal wires underneath bent or somehow deformed. I'm pretty sure the metal wires are touching again which causes annoying loud static noises/pops and also prevents the mic from working intermittently in general. This is a grossly overpriced product as it has few or no competitors. I will not buy another product from them and do not recommend anyone to buy these mics.
