I'm afraid all the advantages of this cradle are negated by a really terrible canopy design. To be honest my favorite was buying the bassinet for under $40 so it wasn't worth the hassle to return the item once our baby was born and we realized how annoying the non-removable top was. When open, the cover fabric/zipper occupies 30% of the entire carrycot opening, making it difficult to see the child and allowing easy transfer of the child in and out of the carrycot. And everyone knows how easy it is to put babies to sleep, not to mention there's an obstacle in their bed area... getting a baby out of the cradle isn't any easier, especially if you have goat ears or so the baby is growing . There are some aspects of the tote that are okay, but the poor design of the fixed top doesn't even make it worth listing. Maybe if they came up with a new design with a retractable hood or at least an opening from the tote bag opening out, this thing would be worth buying. Otherwise, I would say don't waste your money or energy getting upset about it.
