Bought these for a quick Easter treat. They fit perfectly. Nice and tight. The magnets are very strong. They hold tighter than any of the clamps. I didn't believe it, but they are. The material must contain a product that makes them slippery. Glides through hair very well, to me they cost a little more for a much higher quality product. TO UPDATE. BEWARE, over the weekend I flooded the guards with barbicide and now the magnets are falling out. It must have reacted with the liquid. The guards must be drenched, my others never touched it. 2. UPDATE, I was able to secure the magnets with a custom plastic epoxy that I purchased from Lowe. The magnets now hold tighter than new ones. They don't move at all. Actually, that was an update for me too. Works great as I had the problem a few weeks ago. Still very happy with the performance.
