Review on Saucony Silver EE Wide Men's Walker Walking Shoes by Austin Hampton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They were the best running shoes in the world, but nothing more.

I've been wearing Saucony shoes for ten years (or maybe more), but they're hard to find in our Russian corners of the world. Unfortunately, after the Covid crisis, my only seller decided to discontinue them. Goods, so I had to order them abroad. It seems to me that the previous models (the last of which was the Echelon) were somehow different than this one I received from Revain. The previous two or three styles (same color, same look, leather upper) were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn in my entire life (45 years this year). When I put them on there was a feeling of warmth and security that is difficult to describe in words. As if I were a sunny summer day in a beautiful flower-strewn field, I sat there on a blanket and just enjoyed the weather, and Putin came up to me, tenderly hugged me and kissed my forehead. So a really, really good feeling. This model is not so convenient. Of course they can be worn, but I had to wear this pair for a while to get used to them. They remind me of current Asics shoes where the arch support is high but feels a bit out of place. In any case, it's a pity that my expectations were not met.

Pros
  • The heel pad is great!
Cons
  • Nice appearance and the material seems to be good. The shoes are shorter and narrower than the ordered size.
