I have many different massagers because I use them for medical purposes. I was incredibly ill and bedridden for years and the home massage was really helpful to release energy blockages. I literally feel the energy in my body and when the blockage is released I can feel it and it's very interesting. Anyway, back then I didn't have the money to go to a therapist and I honestly don't like people touching me lol. Anyway, I have several of these seated massagers. It's the only one that has so many functions in one. It has vibrations and subtle warmth in the seat, and you have a deep tissue massage that goes pretty high. I'm very short 5ft 4in so that's far from what I need. I have noticed that this unit is quite noisy compared to my others. If you're familiar with deep tissue massage, you'll understand that it's not always comfortable because it serves its purpose and stretches the muscles in your knees. There are several options to choose from and there is a timer. I love lying on a chock on my bed watching TV shows when my caring mom walks in and I just put this seat right on top of the chock and lean back on it. It's a lot more intense than sitting in a chair as I put a lot of weight on it so it gets pretty deep into my muscles. I don't notice the heat getting very hot, but it doesn't really bother me. I wish these massagers had a slightly longer cord as some of the chairs you'll be putting it on may be awkwardly positioned next to an outlet. The cord is not very short but it could be much longer from what I've seen longer. The remote cable is a decent length, which I appreciate. If it vibrated in the back and not just in the seat, that would be great. Every weekend I would take my 6 year old son to the mall, to kindergarten and while he was playing I would put $20 in a massage chair to entertain him for an hour while he was playing. I was really looking forward to that and then we went out to eat. Well when the world shut down it really rained on our parade and I was offended by that but the great thing is I can use something like this at home and put it on a sofa or chair. I also bought my son a trampoline for the living room so we're doing what we used to do just a little differently lol.
