hard case on the market. Stumbled across this for only $18. Case is perfect for a 16" MacBook. Almost no movement when the laptop is in a bag. All four corners and sides have pretty thick protection against everything. The only thing that confuses the case is the weight. It's quite hefty at over a pound and up. If they could somehow cut the weight in half, I wouldn't mind spending $40 on this case. However, for my needs it is perfect. In addition, the zipper goes almost to the side and in portrait format. So if you have it in your backpack you can just pull the laptop out, although to do so you would have to put the zip to one side due to the half length hard case. Shell and a bit stiff + my fat fingers. But still, this functionality is exactly what I was looking for. Overall a good case. From the video it's waterproof although I don't plan on taking my laptop anywhere near water although it's great to know I don't have to worry about the case if I'm in a pouch with me Running drawstring in the rain needs to get wet and soak up water!
