First, I'm very picky about shoes. This is my third pair of sturdy sharks. I like them for their light weight, quick drying and stretch. They are affordable and convenient. If they get wet while swimming, they dry quickly due to the lightness of the synthetic fabric. The only downside would be that with every pair I've had, the sole tends to peel off after about 6 months of heavy use in the toe area of the body. This can be fixed with the appropriate adhesive (e.g. E6000) to get away from it for a few more months.
