Excellent bread box, as in the description. I love that the top is flat and can double as extra storage and the see through window lets me see what's inside. I don't know how effective it is at keeping bread fresh compared to outside, but it serves me well. I bought this to keep my bread away from my cat who has a habit of stealing and eating bread/pastries unattended. Therefore five stars for the fact that the cat bread thief didn't get along with my baked goods. Oh, and we added rubber feet to the bottom of the box to keep it on the countertop. It really made a difference that even when you open the magnetic door the box stays in place and doesn't slip.
