Review on PTHTECHUS Learning Smartwatch Educational Toys by Tyrazz Abouzar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Loud but easy to use with a decent camera

This learning smartwatch from Pthtechus charges with a magnetic connection, which I like. It's easy to squeeze and stop charging, but it also means my little one won't damage the cable or charging port when reconnecting. As long as the watch was in a safe, flat place, charging was easy. If you turn the charger the wrong way, the magnets will bounce back. This smart watch only comes with a home screen image which is a unicorn, but you can take a picture of the watch and set it as wallpaper. The color is nice and bright and I love how the bracelet is made. The holes appear to be closed but are not. This helps keep the group in place. It comes preloaded with a nice tune called "Spring is in my Step" and the speaker is quite loud. The screen is very responsive but recessed so it's not easy to hit when moving around. The song will continue to play even after the screen turns off. It comes preloaded with about 8 games which my son enjoyed while driving. It has a place for a SIM card and is fixed with a screw. SIM card is not included. The clock allows you to set alarms. Let me tell you, it's loud and it's your only volume control. The alarm will sound every 5 minutes until turned off. We accidentally left the clock at home and when we came back the alarm was still ringing until we turned it off. It has a calendar, calculator, timer, contacts, stopwatch, camera, shortcut key and flashlight. The flashlight (flashlight) is on the side of the watch, but it should be on the top of the watch (next to the camera) to make it easier to see for right and left handed people. My son wears a watch on his right hand so he has to press his hand on his chest to use the light to go to the bathroom at night. I think it's good that this function has been integrated. It was very functional. There is no volume control except on (loud) and quiet. Games and all other sounds have two volume settings (loud when quiet or quiet). In quieter environments, my son still wanted to listen to games on his watch at a lower volume but couldn't. When the watch is off, it's easy to see when it's charging; However, when it's on, the battery indicator is very small, so it can be difficult to see its movement. Unfortunately, this watch is water resistant and not waterproof. My son jumped in the pool with me and that was the end of the watch's function. We put it in rice for 24 hours and it was audible but the screen was dead rendering the watch unusable. I couldn't make music on it before this incident so I don't know how to do that. The instructions say "Load MP3 music to view storage media: My Music". It wasn't a bad watch, although there were some flaws in the sound. We were waiting for the SIM card to arrive so we didn't call until it accidentally drowned. The battery lasted several days when my son wasn't playing games; However, it had to be charged daily while playing. My son liked this watch better than the more expensive ones we got afterwards because it was easy to use and kept his fingers busy when he was sitting still.
