Dog Description: My dog is a 7lb Havana (eg Maltese). The car seat looks like it would fit another dog just like mine did. . The setup was a bit tricky. There are no instructions and as this is my first time buying a dog car seat I really didn't know what to expect. The car seat comes with two plastic panels. I didn't know what they were for at first, but the car seat didn't retain its cubic shape when I unfolded it for the first time. My husband shook his head, took the panels, opened the front and back pockets and tucked the panels in. Apparently the plastic sheets were there to hold the shape of the car seat -_- Once it was put in the car everything was fine. My dog liked the fact that she could see everything and didn't feel like she was stuck in a pet carrier. We used the seat belt to ensure it stayed in the seat. One minus: I didn't receive a blanket with my car seat like some people did in the reviews. I took off a star because I didn't have instructions for the two panels and for the missing ceiling.
