These light strips have solved a longstanding problem for me. I have an Anderson bed, which means the platform has 6 drawers on each side. The problem is that even in daylight it's very difficult to see what's in the drawers. I placed these light strips under the edge of the platform, just above the crates, and now I have crate lights! Two photos were taken without flash before and after installation. (I'm not the best photographer but I hope you get the point!) Very easy to set up; and the Y splitter and extensions were just what I needed to go down either side of the bed. Also, I can leave the dimmer switch very dark and use the on/off switch to wake me up in the middle of the night. I can then use the dimmer to give full light when I need to look in the drawers. I can't believe something so cheap finally solved my problem. I hope I live a long life off these lights, but that remains to be seen. At the moment I am a very happy woman!
