Bought for my 6 year old to wear to a Disney visit. It was comfortable enough to wear most of the day around the magical kingdom. There are no ruffles or awkward "itchy" details in this dress. Simply a good quality sweater that my daughter was able to walk and play in easily. It also holds up well after machine washing, inside out. True to size, but I ordered a size up as my daughter is currently between sizes. It turned out perfect!
