folding tables are a good size for a living room if you're short on space. They look exactly as shown in the photos. Unfortunately, assembling the tables right out of the box was a real challenge. First, the screws that come with it are too short for the table. The company provided an Allen key and 16 screws. I had to go to Home Depot to buy 8 M6 11mm x 30mm screws so I could mount the table legs. Plus a transparent silicone tube for attaching glass plates to metal holders. Without silicone, the glass easily pops out and spills your drinks. The tables wobble back and forth because the plastic leg pads are out of balance. I solved this problem by adding hard foam everywhere for stabilization. To be honest I went through this headache because I really love the placemats and they look great in my living room and I didn't want to waste any more time returning the tables to the UPS store and ordering a regular mid-century coffee table , which didn't look would be nice at all. Conclusion: IF you are persistent, imaginative and good with your hands, then this placemat is for you. Otherwise, save the extra $100-$150 and buy a better table elsewhere like West Elm.
