My husband and I have been looking for a bedspread for a long time. We wanted one that we could use year round -- cool enough in the summer and warm enough in the winter -- so we could just add blankets in the winter. We live in Colorado. This is a perfect weight. And, we've been looking for a spread that was large enough for our king size bed so that it hung down far enough on the sides that we didn't need a skirt. This one does it all. AND, I love the color. It is true to the picture. It is what I call a soft gold. I think it would work if someone is looking for yellow or gold. This color is a very nice happy medium in my opinion.
