I have had this chair for 4 months now and spend probably 8-10 hours a day in it. The comfort is excellent, everything is adjustable. It has good recline and nice mesh, two of my priorities. Initially it started to loosen a bit, but after tightening a few screws everything was back to normal. The chair does wobble a bit where it connects to the stem, but I suspect it's also a connection issue, but I didn't take the time to adjust. One of the main reasons I bought the chair was that when I sit in other mesh chairs (Aeron) the edge of the chair presses on the back of my thigh just above the knee and ends up causing discomfort. Adding padding to the X chair - problem solved. I haven't owned many office chairs, preferring to buy good quality ones and keep them for a long time, but this chair offers significant comfort and functionality, especially at its price point. My other chair is Aeron and if I were offered a trade-in offer for that chair I would be happy to do so.
