Review on Type Dynamic Performance 60 Minute Cassette by Marc Stewart

Revainrating 4 out of 5

TDK is a good choice. Use this for speech, not music!

As the author of the book "Take Me To A Circus Tent" about Jefferson's airplane, as well as being an avid music collector and former radio disc jockey, I am often asked to write or discuss various tape recordings. TDK has a solid reputation in the cassette and VHS industries with a long track record of success. TDK D is not intended for music. You can record your favorite songs, but it's best to listen to playback on a cassette called Chrome or Position 2. The letter D corresponds to the normal offset (position 1). They are used for voice recording. This can be useful for interviewing someone, transcribing notes, record a sporting event or radio talk show. For music recording, use TDK's excellent SA or SAX. They offer amazing quality and durability. Please make sure the cassette deck has clean heads, otherwise a good recording tape is not important and you will get dirty sounding results. Please stick to 60, 90 or 100 minute blank tapes. Anything above the band is thin and more prone to breakage. Enjoy the music and stay healthy, Craig Fenton, author of Take Me to the Circus Tent on Jefferson's plane. 90 or 100 minutes of blank tapes.
