I like the idea of being able to turn ports on and off without disconnecting the device. And for all intents and purposes, that works fine. However, it is said to support USB 3.0 - I can't seem to get it to work. It is connected to a 3.0 port on the computer, but when I connect a 3.0 device to one of its 4 ports, my operating system tells me that the device can perform better when connected to a 3.0 port. If I take the Sabrent switch out of the equation and plug the device in directly, it runs at 3.0 speeds. The recirculation of Sabrent between the device and the computer reduces the data transfer rate to level 2.0. So if you don't mind waiting. Go for Switch convenience. If yes, do something else. By the way, I'm using Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate. And I checked for drivers for the hub, just in case. I couldn't find anything on the Sabrent website.
