Well, kinda, but not quite. But ok I guess.

I like the idea of being able to turn ports on and off without disconnecting the device. And for all intents and purposes, that works fine. However, it is said to support USB 3.0 - I can't seem to get it to work. It is connected to a 3.0 port on the computer, but when I connect a 3.0 device to one of its 4 ports, my operating system tells me that the device can perform better when connected to a 3.0 port. If I take the Sabrent switch out of the equation and plug the device in directly, it runs…

I can only connect two standard size USB drives

I can only connect two standard size USB drives to ports 1 and 3 or 1 and 4. Because ports should be closed. Only the smallest USB stick fits on all 4 ports at the same time! So if you just order this USB stick device, you can only use it like I do, no more than two flash drives at a time, crap! If you don't have any small size USB sticks like Kingston DTSE9 series, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DYQYITG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. They don't appear in any of their ads…

Great hub, bad charger

This product consists of two things: a desktop-powered USB 3.0 hub and a charger. The hub is exactly what I was looking for - a tower format, with all the essential ports on the back and a few extras on the front for the occasional USB stick and mouse receiver. I get USB 3.0 speeds with no problems. Unfortunately they tried to overcharge the charger. The two front red ports are for charging only. I have a USB charge tester and can never go above 4.9V at 1.8A. That's 8.82 W. For comparison, the…

The USB hub works perfectly, there is no fast charge anywhere!

About a year ago I bought a 7-port USB hub from Sabrent because I needed a USB hub and liked the idea of being able to quickly charge my phone or tablet while I was at my computer work - the feature is the reason I bought this hub from many on Revain. While the USB hub works as expected, the two "Fast Charge" ports fall short of my expectations - it only charges FOUR MINUTES faster compared to regular USB/Data 3.0 ports on the same hub. found it wasn't charging fast by calculating how long it…

Just what I need to add the correct USB capacity to my monitor dock

I bought this hub to pair with my Philips Brilliance 272p monitor which includes Ethernet and 2 USB ports that are unreachable. Connecting a powered hub gives me useful ports on my desktop while maintaining a true single-cable USB-C connection to my laptop. This hub has the advantage of ports on both sides, allowing the user to access the ports from the front. accessible to the user for quick plugging and unplugging and ports on the back that don't get in the way of permanently attached…

4 stars for HB-UMP3 and 5 stars for Sabrent's technical support team

I have a Mac Book Pro with Windows and I need more USB ports. I regularly connect internal drives to my laptop via USB for data recovery, so I need something with more power than the standard USB connection. I am satisfied. comfort me with their name and product line. Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Not everything fits

On Friday I returned this product as defective, to no avail, because when I plugged it into the power supply, the individual port lights for ports 2, 3 and 4 only lit up when the corresponding button was pressed. I mistakenly assumed the unit was defective and asked for a replacement which was prudently sent to me for the night. Imagine my dismay when the exact same thing happened to the replacement. I didn't even bother to plug the first device into the USB port because the light from port 1…

Termination after 6 months

I connected it to my Raspberry Pi to power my external hard drives. I liked the idea of having switches on each port since I live on a boat and it gave me the ability to turn off things I didn't use often without having to unplug and hang around. The product just didn't last long, but it led me to believe it did. 6 months after I received it, one of my external drives started making a strange clicking noise. If I unplug the drive and plug it back in, it disappears for a while. I plugged the hub

Excellent USB3.0 hub, the best among USB hubs

_______6.2.2021 Update______Only reporting in the hub still works as it should. all switches work properly. 100% satisfied. Please note that this is a 5Gb/s hub. My devices are slowly moving to 10 Gbps but it's still great for hard drives._________Original_____I bought this USB hub with my hard earned money and this review contains my own thoughts and opinions. I didn't want to wear out plugs or ports to plug and unplug the device whenever I needed it. With the switches, I can just turn it on…
