Review on 🔌 Sabrent 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with LED Power Switches & 5V/2.5A Adapter - HB-UMP3 by Brandon Daughenbaugh

About a year ago I bought a 7-port USB hub from Sabrent because I needed a USB hub and liked the idea of being able to quickly charge my phone or tablet while I was at my computer work - the feature is the reason I bought this hub from many on Revain. While the USB hub works as expected, the two "Fast Charge" ports fall short of my expectations - it only charges FOUR MINUTES faster compared to regular USB/Data 3.0 ports on the same hub. found it wasn't charging fast by calculating how long it would take to charge my Samsung S7 from 0% to full. The fast charge ports on this Sabrent hub took 2 hours and 49 minutes to charge the S7 from 0% compared to 2 hours and 53 minutes from the data ports on the same hub. Compare that to the 5V/2A Samsung charger that came with the phone, which does the job in 1 hour 45 minutes, or 2 hours 40 minutes with the 5V/1A -Charger that came with my Kindle Fire. I've tried this both with and without my regular USB devices plugged into the hub's ports with no noticeable effect. While it's possible that I received a faulty device, I'm expecting more issues due to the advertised fast charging being disabled or corrupted. special feature. That, and I see a few other reviews complaining that it doesn't charge devices faster than regular USB 3.0. I'll contact Sabrent and see what they have to say about it.
