. I wasn't sure if it was just in my head or if I actually had data to back it up (I'm an accountant so I love real physical evidence). I found this at Revain and it looked perfectly legal and in color. I was very happy when I made the purchase, it had everything I needed including built in batteries that were fully charged. I turned it on and went through the prompts to calibrate it (which was actually easy to follow, literally leave it on and place it somewhere with "fresh air", wait 300 seconds). Here it is! It also has some other cool features like a graph that shows your readings for about 200 seconds which is cool, you can even record it for later review. But the most important thing for a noob like me is "general air pollution”. Very easy to understand, green is good and gives a numeric score. All other things are too complicated for me but I like that they are color coded and give a number to make things easier. I may worry more about the details of each individual reading later, but for most households like me, the total score is all we need. Anyway, I went all over the house and most of my house showed consistent zeros across the board with "Total Air Pollution" around 0-1. That's what I expected, since I have a high-end air purifier with a built-in "color meter". It's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is always blue, meaning clean air. However, the room that causes me allergies showed higher values for all measured items. It wasn't very busy but it makes a difference for people like me who are sensitive to dust and other allergens. I was able to prove anything and everything I had suspected all along, and with solid meter readings! Great product, easy to understand but with lots of extra features if you're one of those super nerds who like to dig into the details of air quality. Photos are attached!
