This outfit is beautiful, and good quality but i have a warning. I am 5'5 and about 116 lbs, and small chested -- 34A think ballet dancer body. I am not "curvy" but have a nice little figure. I ordered a small, size 4 from the chart based on the chart and recommendations. The top has great stretch. The waist does not. It's a struggle to get the dress on because of the lack of give in the waist. Once on it is just tiny bit snug at the waist - I'm aware of the waist but it doesn't hurt or anything, it is just enough to remind me to stand up straight and hold myself with good posture, and not overindulge on food and drink. The length is a little below my knee and i wish it was an inch or two higher but it's okay. I am not sure if I'll get it hemmed, because i worry about spending money on the hemming and then having it shrink, and not being able to wear it just fits me. (Note: If my breasts were bigger there is plenty of gentle stretch to accommodate. It's the waist that worries me.) The quality is nice, like it will hold up and be great in the winter for cocktail and holiday parties, and the vibrant red and black is stunning. However, I can't give it 5 stars because the company should've anticipated that if we have to put it on by putting it over the top half of our bodies - shoulders, breasts, etc, it would be wise to ensure the waist has some stretch or at least a half inch more fabric to allow us to get into it.I am not sure if I will return it for the next size up because the lack of stretch in the waist is the only challenge. and I'm worried about it then being much too big, and definitely needing to get it hemmed.So, a great dress for the money: YES! But pay close attention to the measurements when you order.
