I sat on this purchase for about 1 year and finally pulled the trigger. I had some initial installation issues which were referred to the supplier: I had some trouble installing the HW fitting. When you screw it onto the check valve it tends to crush the rubber washer and force it into the nipple. At the moment there is nothing to seal it. My suggestion would be to use a standard clamp connection. At that moment I almost gave up the idea of connecting the HW line to the sinks. I ended up just wiring HW and CW 1/2 "T" in series and running short copper wires with check valves on each. I bought two 3/8" x 3/8" flexible stainless steel hoses and went straight from the fittings to the bidet nipples. When everything was tight, I opened the taps and nothing flowed. I disconnected the lines from the bidet to confirm flow. Hmmm. I ended up spring-loading a small spring-loaded filter/regulator? reached from each nipple and flow. It was the only way to get the bidet flowing. I really hope they don't have to work. When I did my first test (not seated), the water plummeted 30 feet across the room, splashing the wall and my treadmill. These things have power! I'm not sure if it behaves the same way with the filter/regulator installed, but I'll leave it! Do you see what I did there? In general, I've never used the included HW hoses, chrome fittings, or stainless steel braided hoses. Proper braided stainless steel hose, check valves, copper fittings, tubing, etc. cost me a few bucks. I understand that this is being marketed to the average homeowner who may not have plumbing skills and I honestly can't see how they can be successful with the hardware provided. Now that I've hooked it up properly, it's working pretty well. By the way, I have a rental house, so I do my share of the plumbing. Update - 7-16: I contacted the seller and asked for 2 replacement filters/regulators. I wanted to try a clean install to lessen the flow. The seller replied the same day and said he would ship them immediately. I received them in 2 days and they actually sent not 2 but 4! I think it's great service!
