I have been using Old Spice shaving cream for over 40 years. My wife loves the smell. I also. I was disappointed when the company that made Old Spice stopped making shaving soap for my Old Spice mug. With this product, which comes in a tube, I simply put a small amount in a shaving cup and lather it up with the brush like I would with bars of soap. It lathers well and shaves just like the shaving soaps that come with the original Old Spice mug and brush. The tubes will last if you shave with a small amount of shaving cream every time. For travel I leave a heavy mug at home and use a coffee cup or plastic mug where we stay to reduce weight. Some men just use a spoon and smear it all over their face straight from the tube. I tried this. I would not recommend that. Use a good quality shaving brush and foam.
