Solid performance at a great price

There seem to be literally thousands of webcams on the market. Choosing one can be intimidating. I have bought several IP cameras from Faleemi which all worked very well at a very reasonable price so based on my previous success with the brand I chose the Faleemi webcam. This new webcam offers equally good performance at a very good price. As soon as the USB port is plugged in, the webcam is immediately recognized on my laptop running Mac OS and Windows 10. Neither operating system had any problems finding or using the camera. I've been using it mainly for Windows OS for online MS Teams meetings for a week and haven't had any problems. It goes well with various programmatically created backgrounds in MS Teams and just works flawlessly. Faleemi has adjustable focus, so it's better than my fixed-focus laptop webcam or my previous Logitech webcam. This is really good because my monitor setup is a little different than the normal setup and allows me to fine tune the focus for my custom office. The focus knob has resistance and dampening so the focus is easy to set and stays right where you set it. It was actually an unexpectedly nice feature - no jittery, unreliable controls. Good. The viewing angle is similar to a laptop webcam (quite wide) and much wider than my previous Logitech webcam. I like Faleemi's wider viewing angle better than Logitech's narrower viewing angle. It's just personal preference, but it works better for me. Image quality is MUCH better than the laptop webcam that came with my work laptop. The Faleemi webcam is much sharper and better balanced in terms of color and contrast. It's also sharper and higher contrast compared to my previous Logitech webcam, although the Logitech differences aren't as obvious. In fact, Logitech's image was good and acceptable; but Logitech's webcam costs about twice as much as Faleemi's. Given that Faleemi has a better image for less, I think this really illustrates the overall value of Faleemi. Overall I am very happy with this webcam. It's sharp, with a great picture, and at a very good price ($30 with coupon). I've had good luck with Faleemi cameras in the past and so far this camera seems just as solid for the price and excellent quality. I have no problem recommending this if you want a great webcam at a reasonable price.
