I use them as everyday headphones because I'm one of those rare weirdos who likes these clip-on clips instead of earbuds. I really miss the clips on older Sony models that had more rounded plastic clips as they are intentionally knobbed to provide a stronger grip on the ears as they are meant for running or exercising. Unfortunately, this means that if you use the headphones for more than an hour or two you're likely to experience earache and fatigue, but if you're only using them for their intended purpose you should be fine. The cables are of decent quality, they have sleeves to prevent tangling and the rubber and solder between the connector and the wires hold up well. The cord is a little long but for me it's an advantage as I'd rather have it a little longer than too short. The sleeve on part of my cable has started to come loose which is a bit annoying but forgivable as I've had it for about a year now. The sound quality is excellent, the bass is okay. The foam padding can be replaced as these blue plastic rings around the earcups are removable and allow you to insert new pads and reattach the rings. Overall I wish Sony would just make them with regular clips instead of the sporty model and they would be perfect.
