Review on Blue Yeti Pop Filter Eliminates by Sonja Garcia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does exactly what it says on the tin, stops popups

Not much to say about the popup screen. I bought it with the Yeti mic and it attaches well to the base. And you know what? It stops most pops. Yes. He really does what he says. which is nice. This time. And my podcast sounds fantastic. I've shot half a dozen episodes in the United Republic of Stars so far and there's no sign of wear. So this is quality. A few notes on this: 1) It attaches nicely to the Yeti's stand, but you'll probably have to fiddle with it until it fits together with the USB port and headphone jack. But it's only a few minutes into your day and you probably aren't making any money from it anyway, so what's a minute or two, am I right? 2) It doesn't stop punching through it. Listen to it while you record. If your lips are wet, you may hear a slight click between words as you purse your lips (there's a term for it, but who am I? A linguist?). the recording person. And I'm sure it would be worse without this filter. Just find those little dots on the waveform and edit them. Or. You know. Lip balm.3) Position it a little less than a hand's breadth from the microphone, as you should be speaking at about a hand's breadth into the microphone. Unless you like rubbing your lips against the filter, which I completely understand, but yes. it's not really mine. Also, I believe that less saliva can increase the duration. I bought a pack and that seems more than enough to me. But I'll let you know if I find it falling apart after the next few episodes. Also a bonus e-book. Not a bad little addition. Didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know, but then again I've written things down before. But for a beginner, it can completely change the way you think about audio. Or not. Hey it's up to you
