This review is dedicated to the Snailax Massage Seat Cushion - a heated back massager. This is one of two I ordered for my family. Both arrived in good condition with no shipping damage or problems. Reading the reviews there seemed to be a lot of confusion as to whether this was a car model or a home model. As it turns out, both power supplies came with the ones I received. I use mine every day, multiple times a day. The block is useful, but there are serious design flaws. The first problem relates to the heating function. The high temperature setting is just too hot. I just used it in this mode for the first time and now I miss it every time. There is no redundancy to set the heat and with the push of a button the high temperature mode is activated. I think the logical solution would be to have a "PWR" on/off button that turns the device on. From there, you can press the "Mode" button to turn on the massage function and/or press the "Heat" button to turn on low, then medium, and finally high heat. Another problem is that the device does not remember your settings. and when you press the power button, it will switch to "Auto" mode, which is the fourth of 5 modes. The automatic mode annoys me. I especially like the Knead setting and use it on low heat for a 15 minute nap. There is an "INT" setting for intensity, but it only works in Ripple and Knead modes. .There is a pocket on the right side of the seat for the wired control box. But the opening to the rear? I haven't used my massager in my car, but I really don't understand how you can hide the control box in your pocket while sitting in your car seat. Then there's a control box with buttons that don't face their respective LEDs directly, and an image of a flathead (human?) with trapezoidal feet and ears sticking out of its mouth and standing at attention; In my opinion, that's not quite a picture of bliss and relaxation. This graphic is too weird and I can't imagine where they were going with it? So 4 stars out of 5 for all of the above and the fact that I find it serviceable once I get used to it. I like the Knead setting best, so I've decided to keep mine. I use it enough to quickly press buttons to jump to my favorite setting, it's in no way the same as the logic switch function combined with a memory that remembers your settings.
