Sometimes I ship 2-3 used items a week of lids, doors, bezels etc. I used masking tape ( can leave a mess) or cling film (stuff on those 6 inch rolls). It works, but it takes time and I've had complaints that it's painful to shoot. This is the same band that comes with the new electronics. It stays in place, removes cleanly and looks professional. I usually cut it into 1/2" wide strips so the roll lasts long. It's also easy to move around as it sticks to molds, glass and any non-porous surface. It's extremely difficult to tear unless You cut it first and it doesn't stretch.
