To be honest I don't have much experience with wireless USB dongles, I think for $20 I got what I expected. He's doing his job. It gets quite warm during use, there may be more energy efficient alternatives if battery life is an issue. I originally bought it for another project where I wanted to use AP mode, but it never worked out. I haven't tried AP mode, so I can't comment on this functionality. I'm using Win7 64 bit and it works at least in wifi mode. Not sure what the other reviewer meant when they said it didn't work, maybe Windows updates have since fixed it, or maybe the problem is just in AP mode.
