Love this watch! It was easy to use straight away. The information he provided was helpful, informative and easy to understand. The Garmin website was also easy to understand. I initially used the My Fitness app to track my calories, but eventually settled on the basic info that the watch simply provides. I leave it on all the time and find the sleep tracking very helpful! I would only buy this watch for activity tracking, but daily tracking has made it a regular part of my day. It's simple enough that I use most of its features on a daily basis. I don't know if a smartwatch will really improve my experience with this watch. Having a heart rate monitor built in was awesome. I would recommend this watch to anyone who wants to keep track of their run.
