I had high hopes for this replacement battery but it is not at all the replacement I was hoping for. Only running a single browser, the battery drops from 100% to 75% then down to 8% and below in less than an hour. I can never trust the percentage left because it drops so inconsistently. It got my computer functioning again from my original battery that completely died on me, but I wouldn't trust using it for more than 30 minutes without a power cord handy. Probably worth spending a bit more on an original or better replacement for longer unplugged use.7/19 Update: Computer randomly shuts off and goes into power saving mode while in the middle of working, even while plugged in with 100% batter. This never occurred before installing this new battery. I don't know why this would happen, but based on my research, this is often attributed to faulty batteries. Thankfully, it wakes back up with a press of the power button after a minute or two, but obviously an issue. If you are doing any presenting you might want to spring for something better so your computer doesn't go to sleep in the middle of any important work!
