Not to be used with power cord

Ok that was it, I ordered this along with other parts in November 2017. I would post an "update" (not sure if I did the original review). These little guys should come with a "disclaimer" that they are NOT designed for use with a power cord. It comes down to a design issue. The threaded portion extends about ¼ inch into the chamber. The suggested idea then, I think, is to mount the camera by pressing down on the knurled grip and then attaching the power cord extension (Weatherproof Outdoor Quick Charge 3.0 power adapter compatible with Arlo Pro, Arlo Pro 2 and Arlo GO - Extended and Slim 16- Foot Cable for 24/7 Use of Your Arlo Camera - by Wasserstein (Black) This one by Wasserstein The Wasserstein cable has a 90 degree angle on the micro USB end that plugs into the camera Arlo has a direct micro USB US connection None of them will work with this item Problem? The knurled knob is too large in diameter to allow both cable connectors to fit into the micro USB port on the camera body the Wasserstein mount (Protective wall mount - adjustable interior /Outdoor Mount for Arlo, Arlo Pro and other compatible models by Dropcessories (2-pack - Metal, Black)) vs. Arlo Designed Netge Mount (Ar lo by NETGEAR I Inner/Outer Mount (Black) - Compatible with Arlo and Arlo Pro (VMA1000B) [Official]), you can see the difference in the diameter of the knurled grip. To make them work with the power of the cables, I had to remove the knurled knob, take out the threaded part, use a drill to enlarge the hinge notch, attach the threaded stand to the camera without the knurled knob, assemble all the mounting base parts together. Then insert the bulbous end of the threaded connector through the hole created in the hinge slot and then tighten the knot. Then, and ONLY then, could I connect each power cord. Due to the enlarged access opening, there is a slight loss of flexibility in the range of motion in the hinge gap. Additional security is also lost (?) The presence of a knurled handle for tightening the camera on the thread.
