Okay this light is good from a distance if you don't look too closely. The problem is that it's very cheaply made. The crystal effect you see on the lampshade are really just cheap gems glued onto the glass. Yes, you read it right. Now it is obvious that the glass is clean. This way you can see all the glue dots for each individual gem. Also, there was a TON of glue on the outside of my lampshade, so my first job was to clean with Goo Gone for 20 minutes, which wasn't a good start. Also, the mount doesn't sit snugly against the ceiling, no matter how tight or loose you try to screw it in, it just hangs precariously by two small screws. The included screws are also too short for ceiling mounting (about 1 inch), so I dug out my own longer screws. If it was a $50 flashlight I'd probably recommend it, but at $100 it's way overpriced for what it is.
