I have had plantar fasciitis for years. I gave shots, stretched endlessly, bought shoe inserts with very little relief. These socks are NOT a miracle cure for PF. However, they provide some relief. Here are my observations and experiences after wearing it.1. What I immediately noticed is that one of them fits tighter than the other. I had no idea my foot and ankle were swollen until one of my socks was visibly tighter. After almost a week of wearing, they fit perfectly. So it helped the tumor.2. They're a little tight on my ankles, but not so tight that I can't wear them all day.3. PF still hurts, but it's less bad. I would say it's about 20-30% better.4. Before my socks, my foot hurt almost 24/7. Even if I didn't put any weight on the leg. I don't sleep in socks and the pain in my legs at night in bed is reduced by 50%. I actually have hours in bed where my leg doesn't hurt. It's HUGE.5. They are a little thick and some shoes don't fit them well.6. The lack of socks on the toes seems strange. Not sure how this would work in winter shoes/boots. I have a feeling I'll need a sock over that in very cold weather. Hope I can find out how to do it. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
