Review on SanDisk Extreme 32 GB SDHC Class 10 UHS-1 Flash Memory Card - High Speed 45MB/s (Model: SDSDX-032G-X46) by Peter Green

Tough, fast and yellow, easy to see in a dark bag

I have two of these 32GB class 10 SDHC cards and they are perfect for HD video with my EOS 6D Camera. Also, they do an excellent job with bursts from RAW images. I'm careful with them as SDHC cards are more fragile than the metal cased CF Extreme cards I use in my 5D MKII. But so far I've had flawless performance and have stuffed these cards with HD live video many times over the last 6 months. My first Extreme 32GB SDHC has a nice black and red label. The latest and greatest models have the same speed/specs but a gold colored label with red accents. A gold card is easier to find in a dark bag, but could use a graphic design. I have been using SanDisk Extreme CF and SD series cards since 2005, almost 9 years with excellent service. It's all about fast and reliable performance, and these cards deliver excellent performance. Quality control is so good I've never had to test SanDisk's customer service. I've washed and dried my CF cards several times and rubbed them down with keys and rocks and they've worked great. I don't expect the SD cases to hold up to the same abuse as the CF cases, but other than that I get the same great results. I'll be back for new extremes when 64GB becomes more affordable. At the moment, the best option is the size of 32 GB. Great card: fast, reliable and at the right price.
