I wish they'd stop advertising these type of socks as heated. They are NOT heated. They are insulated, and decently done, but that also makes these socks super thick.You will not be able to wear these with regular shoes. These are more for wearing around the house alone or with slippers, or inside boots that you generally wear two pairs of socks in.These are warmer in my insulated boots than other socks, and they are soft and comfortable. While the "color" of light is sometimes a relative measure, in my opinion these 40 W LED dimmable bulbs were NOT remotely "Warm." At a fraction above the 2700 rating on the "Warm/Cold scale, I expected these bulbs to be considerably warmer in the color spectrum than they appeared. I would call them equivalent to what is often called "daylight" white in the new LED lighbulb parlance. Perhaps they are even a tad cooler than that. I measured according to the sizing chart and all was fine except for the length of the loop that goes over the shoulder. It fits slightly too big and bulges through my shirt. Not a big deal. I recently got into mountain biking and bought a Salsa Ridgeline. It came with good resin brakes. Well, after hitting the famous Ridgeline trail in DuPont forest, they started to squeal. As a newbie, I burnt the pads. So, knowing brakes, I opted for semi-metallic. Wow, what a difference. These things can stop you on a dime. Excellent, and troublesome, for a new rider. The unit works great for everything except phone calls. I bought it because of the CarPlay compatibility, and it functions great. The microphones, internal and external are terrible.
