Review on 🩲 Amazon Essentials Girls' Stretch Active Short: Comfortable and Flexible Performance Wear by Daniel Russell

I understand these are cycling shorts and are meant to fit, but these shorts are too small (size XS/4-5 purchased). My daughter is currently a size 4 but should be a size 5. As you can see from the photo, her waist is over an inch shorter than her current pants (pink). Even though they are considered high-waisted, they are still at least half an inch shorter. Based on the sizing description, she should fit (41 inches tall, 21 inches waist) but instead she can't even pull them all the way down. She is of fairly average height and, if anything, slimmer. It comes back quickly as I don't have time to figure out if I should order 1, 2 or even 3 sizes bigger than I was supposed to receive. While the material appears nice and thick, I can see them becoming transparent as it stretches. I think they could be worn but don't wear white shorts under dark shorts like this one.
