We used this lamp to illuminate the hallway in the hallway. Assembly is relatively easy, but is best hung with a second pair of hands. The finished setup is very clean and the light is the perfect warm beige through the matte hues. The cables are real cables that you have to install (one side is already installed, you run it through the "bridge" and install the other), so it's a nice touch in the world. It will also look good over the island it was originally intended for.
