Review on 🗑️ mDesign Slim Large 2.5 Gallon Trash Can Wastebasket - Aura Collection - Gray" by Crystal Cornwell

We bought this to keep in our pantry as a little bin for our crushed soda cans so we didn't have to go to the garage all the time. After emptying this trash can into a large trash can in the garage 2 or 3 times, I noticed that the entire bottom of this trash can was filled with mold! We always rinse our soda cans before we crush them and put them in this basket, so I don't know how it got moldy so quickly. Especially since it's meant to be used as a real trash can, not recyclable so I'm guessing it can handle some pretty nasty stuff. Anyway, we just cleaned it with diluted bleach and everything is fine now - we use it. now with garbage bags instead of "naked". Still works great just really surprised by the mold growth!
