I bought each of my little nephews a set of these wonderful oil pastels when we all went on vacation together. Little did I know that when I join them to create a piece of art, I will fall head over heels in love with this amazing set of oil pastels. They are intended for children, but Europeans make much better children's art products than Americans are usually content with. I was so pleased with their quality and ease of use. They don't dissolve in water, we used unscented mineral spirits to mix them in and they dissolved! Whether you mix one color or mix 2 or 3 together, they blend beautifully and easily. They leave some of America's most popular children's brands far behind. Plus, they have nice pointed ends that make it easier to stay in line than square ends. Now I first consider them together with water-soluble pastels like the Portfolio brand. I was so happy to find out how fun they are to use and how they match my adult coloring. Finally something inexpensive that's really cool!
