This device produces beautiful light with easy adjustment of brightness and cool/warm white balance. However, the on/off switch went temperamental in mid-December, around 6 weeks after I first opened the box in late October 2020. Sometimes the toggle switch wouldn't turn the device on immediately, so I had to toggle it. "turn off" and then "turn on" again to make it work. I didn't care, although in hindsight I would have been less forthcoming with this lack of quality. At the end of January, about 3 months after I received the lighting system, the light started to go out in the middle of use. This was not related to overheating as it happens randomly a few seconds after the system wakes up or more than 30 minutes after use. This lighting fixture sits perfectly on the table and has never been transported outside of the original delivery, so it is not operational damage, just a poor quality on/off switch. I submitted a troubleshooting ticket to the manufacturer in early February 2021 and received a quick email response from them asking for my order number and a video of the issue. I replied on February 10th with order details and a video and on February 20th they asked for my mailing address so they could send me a replacement unit which I provided same day). On February 23rd they committed to email me a replacement unit and have been silent since (today March 22nd 2021). I would love to give this system 5 stars, but the faulty switch and slow repair action make me hesitant to recommend it to others. I'm giving it 1 star because it's a great device but with a lousy on/off switch that haphazardly interrupts work. I will update this review when I get a response from the manufacturer. Update (March 24, 2021): I received a UPS tracking number for a replacement part today. As soon as it arrives I will provide an update and revise the overall rating. Fingers crossed. Update (April 10th): I got a replacement 2 weeks ago and it works great almost daily. Once again I am impressed by the quality of the devices. I haven't had any issues and will update my review in about 2 months. I've upped my rating to 4 stars and if the light continues to do a good job I hope to give it a 5 star rating.
