Review on πŸ“» Enhance Communication on the Go with the AnyTone AT-778UV Dual Band Transceiver Mobile Radio VHF/UHF Ham Radio for Car Vehicle by Dwight Tim

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best value for money

My first amateur radio. I am completely satisfied. Pros: Robust radio housing and microphone. Easy to use, easy to program. For a 25 watt radio, this is strong. I used it this weekend to chat with my buddies. I could reach her over 40 miles from mountain to mountain. It was like a blowtorch and could send signals to my comrades from the valleys to the mountain peaks and the peaks to the forested valleys during my hunting trip. Cons: No software was included. You need to download the software from their website. The com cable is not included with the device, so you need to buy a cable for it. One day I got locked out because my microphone stopped working and I couldn't enter my unlock password. Luckily my computer was able to unlock it. Another downside is that the guide is written by a person who doesn't speak English well. The written direction sucks. Anytone needs to correct its user manual entries and instructions. Conclusion: Best price-performance ratio!
