Review on 🐔 Brinsea ChickSafe Eco Automatic Chicken Coop Door Opener, Green: Convenient and Sustainable Solution for Poultry Owners by Monica Moore

This spring I decided to start raising chickens which meant building a brand new coop. I researched all sorts of security and convenience options and one of the ones I went for was an automatic chicken coop door. I want to get out of town for a few days and still know that the ladies are safe at night. This door opener fits perfectly and has been working great since it was installed in mid-June. It was easy to install and set up, and I didn't have to change any of the default settings. It opens just after sunrise and closes just after sunset. I used Home Depot aluminum channel for the rails and a piece of 14 gauge sheet steel for the door. The opener does a great job. I put a piece of wood across the bottom of the door so no pesky critters could get their fingers under it and pick it up. Definitely glad I added this to my chicken coop. It's a little pricey but worth it for the peace of mind. I am attaching a video of the door opening in the morning with this review.
