🐱 The XL Kitty Pass Large Cat Door: Concealed Litter Box Access for Interior Large Pets Review

Be careful haha. The product is great! I bought it to keep my dogs off cat food. But when they say xl, they mean business! My Australian Shepherd and 3 year old climbed through the door. I'll figure out how to reduce it, but the product itself is easy to use and looks good.

Love it! We have the exact door as advertised, a hollow 6-leaf door. The cats bolted immediately. We can now keep the laundry room door closed where the tray is, reducing the noise of the washing machine and the dust that seeps into the rest of the house. My girlfriend buys the same for her cats too!

The XL Kitty Pass is the greatest product! It was so easy to install - took no more than 10 minutes from start to finish - and looks so much prettier than any cat door I've seen. This product allows our cats to go down to the basement where their litter box is without our dog being able to go down there and climb in. Cats love to go there whenever they want! Have already received several compliments on it.

Easy to install, cats can get in easily. I literally installed this using an Xacto knife and a cheap hand saw (obviously my door was cheaply made). The photo shows my tabby cat weighing 7 pounds and a black cat weighing 13 pounds. The larger of the two cats had to duck a bit to get through, I think the smaller of the two doors would have narrowed. We're hoping this reduces the smell of the toilet in the basement now that we can keep the doors to this room closed.

We used to have to keep the basement door open all the time so our cat could get to her toilet, but this was quite a hassle because it partially blocked the other door when open, and often closed by the wind through the front door. We decided to give it a try and are very happy with it. I like it! Looks good and my 2 cats used it without hesitation. No more bracing our basement door for them to go to their stalls. Just 2 problems: 1) If your door isn't completely flat (grooved or decorated) using a thin paper template can be tricky. I asked the seller (they were great) to email me a PDF of the template.
