Well, we have two points of view: My girlfriend is enthusiastic about the thing. Looks cute, easy for cats to get in and out of their little closet, and I managed to install it, completely burned down the house. On the other hand, I have a few issues with this product that may need to be addressed. The most important criterion is the quality of the materials. The thing is some kind of CNC-machined composite material that I don't think will stand up to years of everyday use. Since I made a hole in my door for this cat portal, I want to make sure it lasts a long time. Maybe offer a premium wood option? My cats are not big but they have to bend down a bit to open the door. Finally; installation process. The template worked fine, but I would have appreciated a heavier, pre-cut hole guide. It is made available to you as a low-resolution hard copy on standard computer paper; You need to cut the paper and trace the outline of your door. Given that this is a fairly constant thing you do, it would be great to at least print out the template on thicker paper. Precut would be great too! I'd rather pay a few euros more and do everything more reliably. On the plus side, despite concerns about the quality of the template, installation was fairly easy. If you're reasonably accommodating and can mark and measure with some degree of reliability, you can install this without too much trouble. I also love that it will be easy to color match our living room!
